EXPERIENCE

LOYOLA UNIVERSITY MENS LACROSSE S&C COACH

Designed and implemented year round athletic based conditioning programs for on and off site, with heavy emphasis on sport specific power, strength, mobility, injury prevention, and recovery.

TOTAL HEALTH MANAGEMENT WELLNESS/LIFE COACH

Speaker at corporate engagements at all 6 work sites on topics such as fitness, pain reduction, postural alignment, mind/body connection, breathing techniques, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

LIFE ENHANCEMENT PERSONAL TRAINING

Handle hundreds of clients weekly, on and off site while also managing 6 employees whose duties included: design and implementation of workout routines, nutrition consultations and packages, post rehabilitative movements routines, movement preparation for athletic excellence, as well as corporate, school and club organizations.

Designe and implementation of progressive physical therapy programs. Trained doctors and their therapists numerous exercises and physical therapy modalities for speedier recovery, and patient retention.

FIELD BEAST OWNER/CREATOR/COACH

Instructional athletic based video featuring olympic and professional athletes. Designed, and marketed video to university athletic programs throughout the country and coached thousands of amateur and professional athletes the methods and techniques of all exercises and movements.

ALPHA POWER & PERFORMANCE OWNER

Design and implementation of programs including athletic and function based fat loss, mobility, movement preparation, postural corrections and fight preparation. Life coaching, including stress reduction programs, breathing and meditative techniques and nutrition counseling.

I got into functional training out of necessity. I have been doing resistance training since i was 16 yrs. old, but like most young men my early focus was on basic lifts like the bench press, squat, dead lift with a focus only on how much weight i could lift, and to make sure i bested my previous lifts 6-7 days a week for year. The inevitable happened i was perpetually overtrained, injured, sore, inflexible and becoming more UN-athletic. By the time i was 23 years old i felt more like an old man than someone who should be coming into his prime.

I began researching and experimenting with functional/unconventional movement and my true calling was realized.

My body, mind and spirit all came back to life. Within 2 months my athleticism was back, aches and pains disappeared, my range of motion was never better, and to my surprise my strength not only didn’t fade away it was vastly improved. The ability to feel great, perform at a high level in all physical activities, and be as creative as i want is what keeps myself and all my clients loving the training and wanting more.

Coach Chris is one of the fortunate few who found his passion early in life. For the past 5 years Chris has specialized in group and athletic based training. Chris also speaks regularly to athletic clubs and teams on topics like Olympic lifting for athletes, mobility training for injury prevention, and nutrition for young athletes.
